BITS Policy on Confidentiality of Information
BITS holds confidential all information received from proprietary sources, unless given express permission to attribute the source of such information.

All information obtained from financial institutions is held confidential. Such information may be aggregated into BITS reports and white papers; however, no institution’s information will be individually identified, unless it has given express permission to do so.

All BITS documents – including but not limited to white papers, presentations, and CEO communications – are held confidential. They are distributed only to members of the Roundtable Technology Committee, BITS Advisory Board, BITS Advisory Council, The Financial Services Roundtable, or other authorized Roundtable/BITS members

Exceptions are:

  • Press releases
  • Publicly accessible information on the BITS website
  • Any documents specifically authorized for release
